Continuing Our Faith in the Lord
A monthly meeting is not planned for January. The first meeting for 2012 will be February 14, with Todd Brady as the
featured speaker. Other details regarding the meeting will be in the next newsletter.
It’s hard to believe we are starting a new year. Regardless of our age, from children to senior adults, we need to take a moment to look back before we look ahead. The average attendance at the monthly meetings was 86. The programs provided entertainment, information, and inspiration. The spring retreat provided all of the above in just 2½ days. Now, in looking ahead, the main desire is that senior adults will continue in the spiritual growth, walk hand in hand with God each day, and enjoy the abundant life that Jesus made possible. In John 10:10, Jesus said, “I am come that they might have
life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” That is the desire for 2012.
